On Wednesday, Feb. 22, Thorold Secondary held the second annual Niagara Connects Conference, which invited students from 15 other elementary and secondary schools from across the Niagara Region to participate in a one-day session facilitated by representatives on behalf of youth empowerment organization Free the Children.
